We tapped into the pet influencer trend on social media to create a campaign that both educates and entertains Costco customers about pet medications available through the Costco Membership Prescription Program (CMPP).
While CMPP had previously shared one-off social media posts to raise awareness, we aimed to demonstrate to product managers how a full campaign could effectively boost customer awareness of the benefits tied to their Costco membership.
After discussing CMPP's current marketing efforts, we dove into research—exploring dog health, behavior, and the bond between pets and their owners. We even drew inspiration from iconic personas like "Snoopy"
and his great adventurous mind and the quirky, witty sensibility of the
"Far Side".
We then crafted and presented a series of social media concepts, with one idea standing out: a dog character designed to cut through the noise of daily posts, capturing attention and engaging the Costco audience.
